Kelly Zack Castillo is a Southern California native, with a deep-rooted passion for people and a love for television. After graduating from Cal State Fullerton with a degree in Radio, TV, and Film in 2004, Kelly quickly became an audience coordinator for talk shows and game shows. While working as VIP Audience Coordinator on Dancing with the Stars Season 2, a Casting Director told her she had what it takes to succeed in casting, and Kelly has never looked back. Throughout her years as a Casting Director, Kelly has worked on hit shows like Super Nanny, Extreme Makeover Home Edition, The Glee Project and Love is Blind.

After years of working as a trusted freelance Casting Director, Kelly launched Brighterside Casting to bring a fresh, collaborative, and integrity-driven approach to casting. Since launching her own company, Kelly has continued to deliver heartfelt and compelling casts for hit shows such as Temptation Island (Netflix, Seasons 1 & 2), The Later Daters (Netflix), and 9 Months with Courteney Cox (Facebook Watch, Seasons 2 and 3), to name a few.

Driven by empathy and a deep appreciation for human stories, Kelly approaches each project with honesty, integrity and a genuine respect for people. Her ability to connect with individuals and draw out their most unique traits has made Kelly a respected voice in unscripted casting and a trusted creative partner to networks and production companies. When she's not working, Kelly enjoys hanging with her husband, 3 sons and dog.
